The Pacific Insurance Berhad became a subsidiary of Fairfax on March 24, 2011. Based in Kuala Lumpur and operating with 12 branches in Malaysia, the company offers all classes of general insurance including fire, medical, personal accident, motor, engineering, marine hull and liability. In 2021, Pacific's net premiums written was RM296.9 million (approximately RM4.14 = US$1). At year-end, the company had shareholders’ equity of RM423.3 million and there were approximately 413 employees.

Pacific is led by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gobinath Arvind Athappan.
